RBC Youth Ministry - 'A place where everybody is somebody!'

Sunday School Classes are provided on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. for middle and high school youth. These classes provide engaging Bible study discussion and how to apply biblical principles to day-to-day living. Grade level classes are provided for all 6th - 12th grade youth.

Youth Choir meets on Sundays at 4:45 p.m. during the traditional school year. Youth in grades 7-12 are invited and encouraged to sing in the Youth Choir. The Youth Choir occasionally leads in both worship services and also sings at other times during the traditional calendar school year.

Snack Supper is served at 5:30 p.m. each Sunday. All youth in grades 7-12 are invited and encouraged to join us for a time of food and fellowship. Snack suppers are provided each week by youth parents.

Youth Night Live
meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m.  All youth in grades 7th-12th gather for times of Bible study, recreation, and activities that provide opportunities for youth to build relationships and friendship with their peers. YNL provides opportunities for youth to reflect on daily issues and the challenges of being a teenager today and how scripture addresses these issues and challenges.

Youth on Mission meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 until 7:45 p.m. during the traditional school year. Youth in grades 7-12 are actively learning about missions and also participate in a number of 'hands-on' projects during the year.

Retreats for Middle and High School Youth are typically held in the fall and spring. These weekend trips focus on topics and themes that are important to youth and the issues they face. Youth also participate in a DiscipleNow Weekend each year. D-Now is an 'in-town' weekend retreat led by college students. Youth interested in skiing are invited to a Winter Ski Trip & Retreat each year.

Summer Camps are fun and exciting experiences for our youth. Typically, we attend the Passport Youth Camp each summer. Passport camp goals include: Fresh encounters with Christ, building self-esteem in young people, building community, presenting the whole Gospel, and having fun!

Summer Mission Trips provide opportunities for youth to be involved in week long mission experiences in different locations. In recent years we have gone to Washington, DC, Buffalo, Canada, Charleston, SC, Asheville, and Morehead City, NC. Youth also participate in other 'hands on' mission activities throughout the year.
