Bible Study - Sundays at 9:30 a.m. - Youth in grades 7-12 engage in Bible study and discussion and how to apply biblical principles to day-to-day living.
Hand-chime Choir - Sundays at 4:15 p.m. - The youth hand-chime choir practices each week and leads in worship several times during the traditional calendar school year.
Youth Choir - Sundays at 5:00 p.m. - All youth in grades 7-12 are invited and encouraged to sing in the youth choir. The youth choir leads in worship and also sings at other times during the traditional calendar school year.
Snack Supper - Sundays at 5:45 p.m. - All youth in grades 6-12 are invited and encouraged to join us for a time of food and fellowship. Snack suppers are provided each week by youth parents.
Sunday Night Live - Sundays at 6:00 p.m. - Middle School and High School youth gather for times of Bible study, recreation, and activities that provide opportunities for youth to build relationships and friendship with their peers. SNL provides opportunities for youth to reflect on daily issues and the challenges of being a teenager today and how Scripture addresses these issues and challenges.
Youth on Mission - Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. - Youth in grades 7-12 are actively involved in missions education each week during the traditional calendar school year. Youth also participate in a number of "hands-on" projects during the year.
Creative Arts - Selected Sundays and Wednesdays - Youth interested in drama, puppets, creative movement, and signing meet throughout the year and occasionally lead in worship and on retreats and trips.
Retreats - Youth retreats for middle and high school youth are typically held in the fall and spring. These weekend trips focus on particular topics, themes, and needs.
We also offer DiscipleNow retreats and "Youth Focus Weekends" with local college students providing the leadership for these weekends.
Summer Camps - These camps are always special for the youth. Typically, we attend the Passport Youth Camp. Passport camp goals include: Fresh encounters with Christ, building self-esteem in young people, building community, presenting the whole Gospel, and having fun!
Mission Trips - Youth participate in a number of mission projects throughout the year. During the summer, the youth participate in a week-long mission project. In recent years we have gone to Philadelphia; Washington, DC; Buffalo; Canada; and Morehead City, NC.
